Knee pain

Knees carry the load.

Injury, overuse or arthritis: knee pain can affect anyone, and it can quickly limit how you move.

The knee bears much of your body’s weight, which makes it vulnerable to strain. We look at the whole chain: how your spine, pelvis, hips and feet line up changes how the load reaches your knees.

How we approach it

  • Adjustments to the spine, pelvis and, where appropriate, the knee itself, to even out how weight is carried.
  • Soft-tissue therapy, such as massage or trigger-point work, for tension around the knee.
  • Strengthening exercises for the quadriceps, hamstrings and other muscles that support the knee.
  • Posture and movement advice to avoid more strain in daily life.
