Decompression

A gentle, controlled stretch.

Spinal decompression stretches the spine on a specialized traction table, for back pain and leg pain.

Decompression gently creates space between the vertebrae. The aim is to ease pressure on the discs and nerves, and to help blood, oxygen and nutrients reach the area. It’s non-invasive, and most patients find it relaxing.

Is it right for you?

We examine you first to see whether decompression suits your condition, for example a bulging or herniated disc, or back pain that travels into the leg. If it does, we set the table for your needs and comfort at every session.

Part of a plan

Decompression usually takes a series of sessions and works alongside other care. We look for what’s behind your back problem, and aim to help prevent the next flare-up as well as the current one.
