Cold laser
Light, not heat.
Cold laser therapy uses specific wavelengths of light over an injured area. It’s quiet, painless and takes a few minutes.

We offer cold laser therapy (also called low-level light therapy) as one part of a wider plan, for acute injuries and for longer-lasting problems. The aim is to support your body’s own repair process and to help with pain, swelling, stiffness and muscle spasm.
What a session is like
The doctor holds the laser over the injured area for a few minutes. It doesn’t get hot and you won’t feel much at all. Our device works at 830 nanometers and 90 milliwatts; the light reaches roughly two to five centimeters into the tissue.
New to it?
We’ll walk you through it and answer every question first, so you feel informed and comfortable. We use it alongside other care, aimed at the cause of your pain, not on its own.
